Remember who threw the first punch

So, the police, empowered under law that derives its authority from the constitution, feel entitled to do this.

As we've discussed before, when police step outside the bounds of the constitution, they are no longer law enforcement officers, no longer entitled to the respect or protections that that office holds.

These were not police. These were thugs doing as they pleased.

When the constitution is swept aside, when the rule of law is abandoned, there is only one rule left.

The rule of lead.

They long for it. They believe themselves invincible. They attack unarmed, unarmored people with weapons while wearing armor and think that makes them powerful. All they do is show their weakness.

The thugs have thrown the first punch, all across America. Just as in Iraq, where attacking innocent civilians is creating terrorists, freedom fighters are born with every swing of a billy club, with every rubber bullet they fire. Every lungful of tear gas is a nail in the coffin of this fledgeling fascist police state.

Evil always sows the seeds of its own undoing.

Even if they came for me now. Even if the five of you who read this never see another word of mine again, they can't stop us. They can only stop themselves.

And they won't.

We've already won the war, but there are battles still to fight.
